Field Sales Engineer – Actual User Sales
About the Role:
The Sales Engineer works with multiple functions within the business including engineering, operations, sales, and business development to develop targets and accomplish segment growth goals. Identify current and future customer service requirements and engineering adaptations of products, equipment and services by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
Role description:
- Identify new sales prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, provide demos and presentations and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all product categories offered by the company by getting involved in the commercial discussions.
- Understand the product positioning, tap potential customers and achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs, following a defined selling process with potential buyers and based on the study of the plant, making proposals and submitting the offer.
- Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers and other professional personnel and enter entries in the Sales Management System
- Mapping potential customers for the company and developing new customer databases through market research.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients and suggest improvements or changes in the equipment, processes or use of material.
- Capable of finalizing deals independently by getting involved in the Techno-commercial discussions.
Educational Qualification:
B.E Mechanical
Work Experience:
5-7 years of experience with knowledge of ales for industrial products (preferably steam accessories, boilers, pumps, and heat exchangers)
- Self-starter and owns the business.
- Communication skills and ability to get along with people.
- Initiative and ambition to grow.
