Relisafe ™ PR
Steam and Water analysis System (SWAS) in modern power generation plants requires precise control of flow and pressure. Forbes Marshall’s Sample Pressure Reducing Valve (SPRV or Relisafe ™ PR) is a rod-in-tube type pressure reducing device. Relisafe ™ PR serves a combined function of pressure reduction and flow control device.
As the high pressure sample is forced to pass through the narrow annular region between the rod and tube, the frictional resistance causes the pressure to drop, while at same time modulating the flow.

- All wetted parts are fabricated from Stainless steel (UNS S31600/ S31603)
- Very high pressure rating and Suitable for Ultra supercritical Power boilers
- Cleanable in place by using blowdown valve downstream
